Frankie is a part-dragon part-human paranormal buff. Sammy is a human artist who wants to astrally project himself into a cartoon character and live in his self-designed cartoon realm forever. But that isn't as easy as it sounds. In Tonight's Sammy- a True Story one character will do whatever it takes to keep Sammy out of the cartoon realm for good, even if it means resorting to violence.

In Madman's Castle- A True Story, Frankie brings Sammy and a few other friends on a ghost hunt to Saint Catherine's Hospital, an abandoned insane asylum, in the hopes of documenting ghostly activity on film. Some of the asylum's deceased residents are welcoming to the idea, but some resent Frankie and his team's presence. For Frankie and Sammy, their time at the asylum becomes less about getting good pictures, and more about just getting out alive.

In the third tale, Cree disappears Somewhere Between Here and There and Frankie and Sammy set out to find her. But the more they learn about Cree and why she disappeared, the less chance they have of helping her. To Cree's unearthly enemies, it doesn't matter how much Frankie and Sammy know, it only matters that they don't survive the night.

Jennifer Caress is a native of Colorado who now lives in California. She, too, is a paranormal buff who lives for horror, science-fiction, and fantasy books and movies. She and her husband are trying to move back to Colorado and find a small town of fellow freaks to settle down in.
